Springfontein is a small village in the Southern Free State, 3 kilometres off the N1, 145 kilometres south of Bloemfontein, and half-way between Johannesburg and Cape Town – the ideal stop-over point when travelling between the two cities.

From Springfontein it is just 50 kilometres to Gariep Dam – the largest inland water way in South Africa. The air is pure, the skies are blue, and the village is quiet and crime-free.
